I've heard that calorie shiftiing like the strategy implemented in Weight Loss 4 Idiots results in a revved up metabolism and the secretion of different hormones that aid in weight loss. I have tried the program and it does work. It has helped me with portion control if not anything else for the longrun and for the short term, I have lost few pounds. One question though, has anyone experienced going into hyperthoroidism because of this diet? I re-started the diet to lose my last stubborn 10 and I found that my heart rate increased, I started having a nervous/scared feeling when alone, and scariest of all, the base of my throat starting swelling up so it was difficult to breathe. I ate a bag of Doritos because I became really worried and then I was fine. I have no food alllergies and I've never had anything happen like this before. Also, all of the symptoms started about 3 days into the diet.

Has anyone heard of anything like this happening before on this particular diet?

Losing weight, and then keeping it off, needs a whole change of attitude and lifestyle for life. This includes such things as:
•	the type of foods and drink that you normally buy.
•	the type of meals that you eat.
•	your pattern of eating.
•	the amount of physical activity that you do
For most of us taking that first initial step to losing weight can feel like a big leap but there are weight loss dietary supplements out there that can offer you the support and stability to making this first step easy and accessible.
